Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager - Palliative Care Role Overview: Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic Clinical Nurse Manager to join their team at their facility in South Auckland. The Clinical Nurse Manager will take charge of supervising and coordinating nursing staff, ensuring the best patient care, and upholding clinical standards. Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, this role involves leading a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities: Lead by example and instil the values of our client, ensuring all staff embody the organisation's ethos in their daily interactions.Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within a safe and supportive work environment.Manage staffing levels effectively, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and clinical pathways.Delegate nursing care among various healthcare professionals, fostering positive relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders.Collaborate with the clinical team and senior leadership to deliver service plans within allocated resources while maintaining budgetary constraints.Optimise resource allocation, staffing, and patient flow within the Community and Inpatient Unit.Implement streamlined systems and processes to support service delivery and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold quality standards through regular audits and risk management practices.Champion a patient-centered approach, encouraging openness, feedback, and continual improvement in end of life care.Promote cultural competence, diversity, and inclusion within the workplace, embracing and celebrating differences among team members.Requirements: Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current practicing certificate.Extensive clinical experience with proven leadership capabilities.Completion of a postgraduate certificate or diploma.Track record in change management, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.Previous experience in managing teams or projects toward specific goals or outcomes.Possession of a valid New Zealand driver's license.Join our client's team and be part of an energetic group dedicated to providing outstanding patient care and support to the South Auckland community.
