Collaborating closely with the care home manager you will ensure every clinical aspect in our 88 bed care home, hums with efficiency and effectiveness.
Nga pukenga | What you will need to be successful: Current Nursing Council of New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate A minimum of five years nursing experience in New Zealand preferably in an aged care contextAbility to motivate others to develop their clinical practice and provide a high standard of carePrevious experience working in a nursing leadership capacityPrevious experience undertaking InterRAI assessments and reviewsStrong communication skills and ability to provide leadership to staff membersAbility to build strong relationships with residents, their families and your colleagues Provide clinical oversight of all residents' health conditions and well beingEnsuring support plans are developed to accurately reflect the level of support and progress of individual residents and implemented effectivelyProviding clinical advise in a timely manner in response to queries from management and the teamBe part of the leadership team within Vickery Court including leading the team in the managers absence Monitor, lead and direct the clinical coordinator, registered and enrolled nurses and care workers in the delivery of high quality care Ensuring everyone is kept up to date with the latest best clinical practice for aged careUndertaking regular reviews of processes and procedures ensuring efficient use of resourcesPresbyterian Support Southland (PSS) is a Charitable Trust, we are proud to be the largest social service and aged care provider in Southland.
