Clinical Management Support Administrator Critical Care Unit, Southland Salary Band – $80,026 - $84,491 p.a pro rata + Kiwisaver Fixed-term, fulltime (1 FTE, 40 hours per week) opportunity for 12 Months Your chance to be involved in implementing the administration practices for a contemporary critical care unit Join us as we change the future of healthcare in Southern NZ Mo te turanga | About the role The critical care environment collects a large amount of information about the care we provide to ensure that the quality remains high. In this newly created position, you will be responsible for the initial setup of systems, reports, database and data entry processes as well as the establishment and training of a new ward clerk team. This is a key role in the establishment of robust administration practices for a contemporary critical care unit and will see you involved in, but not limited to: Developing and supporting an efficient and timely administrative support systems and function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service/organisation Database management, payroll and finance procurement, management support and maintaining an efficient and effective ward administrator team. Supporting the Charge Nurse Manager and Senior management team within Critical Care with their administration tasks. Mou ake | About you Alongside your ability to plan, organise and facilitate projects across disciplines, our ideal candidate will also be an excellent communicator and possess the following: A relevant tertiary qualification A technical knowledge of and experience with clinical database management Excellent word processing, database and spreadsheet and analysis skills using Microsoft Windows Office applications Have a high level of accuracy, judgment and maintaining confidentiality A knowledge of and experience in quality systems/project environment Understanding of, and commitment to, the specific relationship under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and Te Whatu Ora role in improving outcomes for iwi and Maori communities Confidence with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
