Mo te tunga | About the role ClinicalEngineering provides a service to all of Health NZ Canterbury Waitaha clinicaldepartments and facilities, including the Chatham - s, West Coast, and hasexternal service contracts with private hospitals and health centres. We - re alarge team working across specialties to maintain approximately 26,000 assets.
Theprimary role of the Clinical Engineering team is to advise, maintain and repairclinical equipment throughout Canterbury. The core skill set iselectronics/electrical including mechanical elements. Clinical Engineeringplays a key role in facilities planning, procurement, asset management andcommissioning of new facilities. This service is essential to the continuedoperations of the clinical services and delivering best possible care to thepatient.
We - relooking fora technically-focused and mechanically-minded individual tojoin our team as a Clinical Engineering on a permanent, full time basis working40hrs per week. The days and hours associated with these positions are Monday -Friday with flexible start and finish times. In these positions you may berequired to travel to Burwood or Hillmorton Hospital campuses.
