Au Mahi | What You Will Do Our Nursing Team within Te Kaupeka Oranga | the Faculty of Health are looking for new colleagues to join us within our exciting nursing programmes. Our nursing programmes include our pre-registration Master of Health Sciences (Nursing) and we are developing our postgraduate nursing portfolio. Our team will be working with the Assessment and Simulation Centre team at Nurse Maude.
Clinical Educators will work closely with the Nursing Clinical Co-ordinator and as a member of the wider nursing academic team, to facilitate quality learning across a range of practice settings. They will also be part of a team delivering orientation and preparation for internationally qualified nurses seeking New Zealand registration. Clinical educators may participate in course development and assessment.
The successful candidate will be a New Zealand registered nurse with at least three years' experience. You will have advanced clinical assessment skills and recent clinical practice. You will also be able to connect this with a strong understanding of bicultural confidence and competence.
