In addition to our vein to vein service in transfusion we also provide national services in organ transplantation, cellular therapies and tissue banking. About the role We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about teaching and training, to join the nursing leadership team. The role supports in delivering excellence in donor and patient care.
You will be supporting collections staff across the Central region and on mobile blood drives. This will require travel and overnight stays.
Salary starting from $114,025 to $121,444 depending on experience.
About you The successful applicant will be a key part of the nursing leadership team, reporting to the Charge Nurse, working collaboratively with Clinical Nurse Leaders and experienced Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Donor Technicians. You will also have a key relationship with the Donor Services Professional Development Team.
Your clinical ability and training focus will enable you to promote best practice, implement new initiatives and to influence and champion change and ongoing development. You will have a sound understanding of standard operating procedures and training requirements for Collections staff and will actively support staff engagement with PDRP. Critical to success in this role is your ability to coach, communicate, empower team members and be an exemplary role model of our values.
