We have an exciting opportunity for apermanent part timeClinic Receptionist to join us in our Waitakere Eye Clinic. You will be required to work 2 full days 7.30am - 4pm (days to be discussed at interview); a total of 16 hours per week. From time to time you will be asked to work from our Greenlane Clinical Centre, so flexibility is a must.
There is also a possibility for additional hours on a casual basis to assist the ophthalmology department cover for staff absences in the records department as well as the clinical reception area at both Waitakere and Greenlane.
This is a very busy role where your customer service skills will shine. As you will be the first point of contact for our patients, visitors and staff, it is essential you show empathy towards patients and promote a professional image which will contribute towards a positive patient experience and efficient running of the clinics.
To be successful, you will need to have a strong patient focus with a "can do" attitude, excellent reception and telephone skills, with good command of the English language, and demonstrate attention to detail. You will need to be flexible and have advanced people and computer skills.
Previous experience in a health care setting and knowledge of PHS/CMS is desirable, but not essential, as training will be provided.
