About Us
Family Works is one of the largest NGOs providing integrated social services for the whole community. Family Works provides a range of services to families and communities including needs assessments, social work, counselling and therapy and a range of life-skills and parenting courses.
Family Works programmes include social work; support with families experiencing family violence; ongoing counselling support to adults, couples, youth, children and families; group and individual programmes for tamariki and wahine who have experienced trauma; parenting programmes; family dispute resolution as well as clinical supervision for other professionals.
About the Role
This is a permanent position in our two Taranaki offices (Liardet Street and Corbett Road) working 3 hours per week on a Wednesday evening.
As a cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring that the site is kept clean and tidy. You will be responsible for providing quality cleaning and hygiene services that is maintained to a consistent standard.

As well as a passion for the wellbeing of all members of our community, you will be enthusiastic but patient and well organised with great interpersonal skills and sense of humour. You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect.
In addition, you will have:
Knowledge and understanding of cleaning programmes and infection control.
Basic computer skills
