Civil Structures Project Manager – Christchurch, New Zealand This leading New Zealand civil contractor is renowned for their expertise and excellence in delivering complex heavy civil projects. With a commitment to innovation and sustainability, they take pride in shaping the infrastructure of tomorrow. They are seeking a seasoned Heavy Civil Project Manager to lead our dynamic team in managing and delivering a variety of challenging projects in and around the Christchurch region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience with a civil contractor, focusing on bridges, dams, water treatment plants, and other concrete-based heavy civil projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of heavy civil projects from inception to completionDevelop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectivelyOversee subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulationsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectivenessFoster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to ensure successful project outcomesProvide leadership, mentorship, and support to project teams to optimize performance and achieve project goalsRequirements:Minimum of 10 years of experience with a civil contractor, focusing on bridges, dams, water treatment plants, and other concrete-based heavy civil projectsProven track record of successfully managing complex projects within budget and schedule constraintsStrong understanding of project management methodologies, contract administration, and construction processesExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholdersProficiency in project management software and MS Office suiteBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is preferredCompetitive salary package commensurate with experience including vehicle, relocation and immigration assistanceOpportunities for career advancement and professional developmentCollaborative and supportive work environmentExposure to cutting-edge projects and technologies shaping the future of infrastructureIf you are a passionate and driven individual with a proven track record of success in heavy civil project management, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
