Civil Estimator

Key Responsibilities:Review and evaluate cost estimatesPrepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and relateddocumentsIdentify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints,specifications, and related documentsIdentify, quantify, and communicate potential production and cost uncertainties to ensure all risks are understood and addressedCommunicate with customers and team members regarding new and current projectsManage bid pricing from all vendorsEstablish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractorsConduct and/or participate in post-close job reviews so that future estimates reflect lessons learned from prior jobsPosition Requirements:2+ years of experience in civil construction estimating with utility substation and transmission emphasisBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or extensive experience in estimating with field experienceStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly verbally and in writingAble to read architectural plans and develop cost estimatesStrong understanding of construction processesIntermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlinesPrior experience with B2W is a plusBenefitsCompetitive compensation401k matching planHealth (medical, dental and vision) insurance where premiums are paid 100% by companyPaid time offOn-premises health club and basketball facilities at Dundee location for employees and families useCompany cellphone, and computerAbility to partially work remote as work allowsNo resumes will be accepted from recruiters or staffing agencies#J-18808-Ljbffr
