Civil Engineering Lead, Transport & Infrastructure (Te Tai Tokerau)Local leadership role based in Whangarei, growing and developing Beca's Civil Infrastructure and our Te Tai Tokerau business, partnering with local clients on legacy infrastructureCreate and deliver engineering solutions in region with a local team, supported by the wider multi-discipline technical expertise and delivery support available across BecaDevelop your engineering, design management, delivery, project, client and people development capabilities within an established Beca business and team who are passionate about 'making everyday better'Play a key role in this Associate or Senior Associate level role, where you will be shaping and developing key infrastructure across the Northland / Te Tai Tokerau region. You will be contributing to creating and delivering outcomes that support social, economic and cultural uplift throughout the region with Beca involved with and pursing many regional shaping projects. You will be working with a lively and passionate team based in Beca's recently opened Whangarei office, collaborating with our locally based geotechnical, bridge engineering, planning, project management, and client and market leaders, as a Civil Engineer applying your design and construction management expertise. You will be playing a project leadership role to scope, design and construct multiple packages of horizontal and vertical civil engineering related projects to a targeted range of industry sectors through connecting and working across multiple disciplines and teams. You will also have scope to support and partner with our Branch Manager and local discipline leads to refine and execute our regional strategy.Career, professional and personal development is available in this role. In addition, you will lead and elevate delivery excellence of projects, develop your client management capability and in the future, through mentoring, supporting and developing others as the in-region team grows. You will also have immense support (and regular visitors!) from leaders across Beca, predominantly from the Auckland head office. As well as the locally based leaders in the Whangarei office, you will enjoy the direct support of Beca's Principals and Market Leaders who are committed to the success of this role. As the local Civil Engineering lead, they will work alongside you providing access to established client and internal networks, their domain knowledge, technical expertise, and connections into other parts of Beca.This role is part of Beca's Transport and Infrastructure business, which is one of New Zealand's largest linear infrastructure professional services providers. You will be part of Beca's Northern Transport and Infrastructure business who have an established and growing track record in delivering projects and outcomes for key markets including Land Transport, Land Development, Health, Ports, Airports, and Solar Energy.
