We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
The Chief Operating Officer is a visionary who will refine processes and implement the infrastructure/systems needed to drive growth throughout the organization. He or she will build, implement, manage, and optimize all operations across the business. This individual will manage and hold a team of professionals accountable in the areas of business systems, production, human resources, legal, finance, and accounting. The COO is both a leader and a manager who can articulate a compelling vision, ensure goals are met, and lead the team as a professionally-run, customer-responsive, and fiscally responsible enterprise. They will implement any cultural shifts necessary to accomplish this vision and will report to the CEO directly.
Minimum of five years of experience in a C-level leadership positions in high-growth organizations
Proven leadership skills, as demonstrated in complex organizational settings, ideally including dissolving departmental silos to foster collaboration and improve operating results
Experience as the steward of the business' culture, enhancing it where needed to meet operational goals
In-depth experience with near-term operational planning and longer-term strategic planning, done in collaboration with peers, supervisors, board members
Deep experience in overseeing disparate work groups, assessing their effectiveness and making organizational changes as needed
Proven ability to meet both long- and short-term deadlines
Experience in planning and implementing new programs in response to changes in consumer preferences or environmental conditions
Proven skills with long-range planning in facilities operations and maintenance
In-depth experience in developing and monitoring budgets in diverse functional areas
Detail-oriented, particularly with a focus on using data to improve results
Track record at creating new revenue streams or launching new products or services
