Chef Needed

Food Lover 2020 Limited T/A Yum Yum is located in Dunedin. We provide top-class food for tourists and local people. We now need two Chefs to help us to provide top-quality food. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week. The salary range is $29.66 to $30.00     The job involves the following tasks and duties:  ·       Preparing and cooking all the dishes offered by the restaurant ·       Monitoring the quality of food at all stages of preparation, cooking and presentation ·       Demonstrating cooking techniques and procedures to the kitchen staff ·       Providing training in cooking technique or health regulation s , if necessary ·       Supervising the performance of kitchen staff ·       Improving dishes and developing the chef's menu ·       Managing the overall operation of the kitchen ·       Ordering supplies and stocks ·       Estimating food and labour costs and assisting in cost control ·       Ensuring the kitchen's operation complies with hygiene and safety regulations.   To qualify for the job, you should have 3 years relevant work experience, or Lv4 or above cookery qualification, or Bachelor's Degree in any major. You should have can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure since our restaurant is extremely busy during peak hours.
