As we embark on our journey to success, we are currently seeking 2 skilled Chefs to join our team.About the Role – Chef (2 Vacancies):We are searching for forward-thinking and innovative individuals (at least 2 Chefs) who are capable of transforming ideas into quality dishes. The selected candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the kitchen, delivering high-quality food services and nutritious meals to our customers. The role involves varied, active, and stimulating duties, requiring a positive can-do attitude and a commitment to enriching the lives of our customers with kindness and a smile.Responsibilities:Ensure all food preparation meets rigorous standards.Prepare and present high-quality food.Maintain clean and tidy working areas to prevent cross-contamination.Prepare items for various menus.Respond to guest inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.Ensure the quality and proper storage of food supplies.Report maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues.Adhere to health, safety, and food safety legislation.Demonstrate environmental awareness.Determine correct portion sizes aligned with pricing and dietary needs.Enhance dish taste and quality through the addition of flavours, gravies, sauces, or seasonings.Ensure all preparation equipment is temperature-regulated and ready for use.Accommodate special dietary requirements of customers.Qualification, Experience, and Attributes Required:Minimum 2 years of similar experience in a busy environment or a relevant qualification in hospitality or culinary arts.Experience in quality and cost control is essential.Excellent food hygiene practices.High standard of personal hygiene and presentation.Ability to thrive in a small, high-paced, and high-volume environment.Punctual, organised, and capable of multitasking with attention to detail.Team player with effective communication skills.Pay & Benefits:Full-time permanent employment.Minimum of 30 hours/week guaranteed.Hourly rate ranges between $26.00 -$30.00.Opportunities for professional growth.Flexible and balanced roster ensuring work-life balance.Friendly and supportive working environment.Application Requirements:Applicants must possess a valid work visa or NZ residency/citizenship.
