We are looking for CHEF. More details about the position· Location: Wellington· Job type: Full-time Permanent· Number of positions for this job: up to 2· Pay rate: from $28.18 to $35 per hour· Days required: 5-6 days/week· Hours per week: min 30, max 60 hours per week Responsibilities and Accountabilities:1. Plan and execute the menu, ensuring a diverse selection of authentic Chinese dishes.2. Prepare and cook a wide range of Chinese cuisine, maintaining consistency and quality.3. Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques and safety procedures.4. Manage inventory levels and order supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.5. Monitor food presentation and portion sizes to meet restaurant standards.6. Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, following food safety regulations.7. Collaborate with management to address customer feedback and concerns promptly.8. Implement cost-control measures to optimize kitchen expenses without compromising quality.9. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during food preparation and service.10.
