Chef

This is a full-time permanent position, with a minimum of 30 hours per week on the roster Candidates for this position must have at least 3 years' relevant working experience in a commercial kitchen or a qualification in cookery. Our business operates 7 days a week, so please be aware that you may be required to work up to 11 pm on weekend shifts and public holidays. Key responsibilities include: planning and updating our menus estimating food and labour costs for our restaurant ordering food supplies regularly monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation discussing food preparation issues with manager, kitchen, and waiting staff demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures preparing and cooking food explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations selecting and training kitchen staff when required may freeze and preserve foods If you believe you are the ideal candidate for this role, please apply with your CV, and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
