We are looking for two experienced chefs for our Indian Takeaway in Palmerston North. Job Description: Raw food preparation, seasoning and cooking of food Ensuring the food quality of raw and cooked foodstuffs Must be able to cook all authentic Indian curries and tandoori dishes Plan food requirements for dressing and ensure great presentation Ability to prepare and meet any dietary requirements Plan menu and pricing of dishes Estimate food requirements and labour costs Regulating temperature controlled cooking equipments Ordering raw food materials Stock taking and reporting it to manager Storing food in chiller and fridges May train kitchen staff Ensuring personal hygiene and maintain high standards of health and safety To ensure the kitchen waste is kept minimum Maintain kitchen cleanliness Other details :  Location : Palmerston North  Job type: Full Time Duration : Permanent  Pay : Minimum $23.50 and maximum $32.00 Hours : Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed Relevant Work Experience Required : Minimum one year Willing to work on weekends (Working days will be between Monday and Sunday) If this sounds like you, Please click Apply Now!!!
