Checkout Supervisor - Full Time

Reportingto the Checkout Manager you will be responsible for supporting them in the day-to-dayoperation of the Front End, ensuring all customers experience the highestpossible standards of service which align with our Brand Promise of "SWEET AS."You will be able to work in a big team helping each other to solve problems andreach the desired result.
Youwill be responsible for: Providingexcellent customer service to our customersSupervising a large teamClosingoff the checkout department in the eveningEnsuringcheckout operators are following the right process at the checkout.Monitoringthe security of the checkout areaKeepingon top of customer flow and ensuring appropriate numbers of checkouts arealways open.Handlingcustomer enquiries and complaints appropriatelyEnsuringthe Checkout area is always kept clean and tidy.Followingthe Sales of Liquor Policy and guidelines in the storeFollowingthe Health and Safety, Food Safety policies and compliance procedures in thestoreCoachand support new team members.Theright candidate should possess the following attributes: Resolute,energetic, punctual and have excellent work ethics.Alwayshave a smile and can cope with the expectations of the role.Havegood communications skills and able to think on your feet.Goodcollaborator and lead by exampleHavegood leadership skills and supervisory experience within the supermarketindustry is an advantage.The days andhours of work are as follows:
