We are looking for a Checkout Manager to join our team at Tokoroa New World.Tokoroa is a multi-cultural close community, surrounding township are dairy farms and plantation forest. There are many scenic reserves around town. It lies in the centre of a triangle made up of the tourism destinations of Rotorua, Waitomo and Taupo. There are about 45 recreational lakes within less than an hours drive of Tokoroa.We are just out here trying to provide a sweet as experience to make life easier for the customer.We are looking for an experienced Checkout Manager to help us deliver the best customer service and to motivate and inspire our team of operators.
The Role:
Create, drive and deliver customer experiences worth driving past the competition for
Provide the team an awesome place to work, keeping them motivated, happy and health
Organizing the team roster and day to day running of the checkout department, seven days a week
Setting standards and ensuring they are met day in and day out
Work with the Store Manager and Owner to build long term plans for customer experience in stor
Nail the delivery of customer grumbles ? providing winning solutions which keeps loyal customers extra loyal!

What are we looking for:
Checkout management experience is a must
Organizational skills & ability to understand the pressures of running a front line department
An ability to listen, advise and come up with commercially savvy, customer driven solutions
Leadership capability you can demonstrate and great people skills
Reliable, honest and be a good team player
Applied performance coaching, training and development of your people
Logical thinking, reasoning and problem solving
Ability to plan, organise and deliver results and ensure our compliance obligations are met
Able to work weekends; 45 hr per week
