Chat Support Officer

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chat Support Officer to join our team at Telephone & Data Systems in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. As a part-time Associate level position, the Chat Support Officer will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through online chat support. This role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service or support role. Responsibilities:1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide support through online chat in a timely and professional manner.2. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to customers.3. Assist customers with account management tasks such as password resets and billing inquiries.4. Collaborate with other support team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.5. Document customer interactions and feedback to improve support processes.6. Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Requirements:1. Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.2. Ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.3. 4 years of experience in customer service or support roles.4. Driven and resourceful mindset to solve complex customer issues effectively.5. Ability to work independently and in a team setting.6. Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends.
