Change Analyst - Fixed-Term - Flexible Location Change Analyst - Fixed-Term - Flexible Location Inland RevenueWellington Central, WellingtonBusiness/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology)Government (Government & Defence)An exciting opportunity has become available for a Change Analyst (Level 2) to join Inland Revenue from April 2024 on a fixed-term contract or inter-agency secondment.Team members are spread across the country so candidates from all regions will be considered.The successful candidate will be focused on the Integrated Operational Planning initiative, and form part of the Pou Here Tangata Organisation Change Management and Training (OCMT) team.The Integrated Operational Planning (IOP) initiative is focused on introducing a technology solution to plan and prioritise relevant Customer and Compliance Services work and people in an integrated manner.This will enable IR to make well-informed planning decisions based on current priorities, across all channels and business areas.Inland Revenue collects most of the revenue that the government needs to fund its programmes. We also administer a number of social support programmes.Mo te tunga- About the roleAs a Change Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and documenting changes that will impact Inland Revenue and our customers as a result of the Integrated Operational Planning initiative. This involves capturing the 'so what' so we can plan and implement the change. The information you identify will be used to build impact assessments, and the corresponding change implementation and readiness plans, as well as change activities. The role will also encompass a significant amount of stakeholder engagement planning and communication.The Initiative team comprises specialist expertise from across IR, as well as consultants focused on delivering specific outcomes.You will work closely with the Change Management (OCMT) Lead, one other Change Analyst, SME's, and the Training team. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Business Architects, Subject Matter Experts, and stakeholders across IR to identify and confirm impacts, craft communications and plan engagement activities.The successful candidate will join the team from mid-April 2024 to end March 2025.In this varied role you will:identify and document what will change as a result of the initiative being implemented, and the impacts on our people, business processes and customers (where relevant)work with the Change (OCMT) Lead to proactively plan and execute stakeholder engagement activitieswork with another Change Analyst on documenting change impacts in formal change management deliverables e.g. Change Impact Assessmentscompile communication and stakeholder engagement plans for the various phases of the initiative and execute communication and engagement activities through to implementation phaseconduct change analysis and create change impact assessments - taking on board a large amount of information to identify themes, draw conclusions and be able to communicate your findings and suggestionsidentify and address gaps, overlaps and interdependencies.To be successful in this position you will possess some of the following attributes:Previous change analysis experience particularly in the areas of Change Impact Analysis and documenting change impactsStrong analytical capabilityPrevious experience with stakeholder engagement and communication planning and execution, with strong writing skillsStrong self-management including the ability to effectively prioritise and manage conflicting demands and tight timeframes to deliver on commitmentsAbility to quickly build and maintain constructive and effective relationshipsConfidence to work with senior stakeholdersHighly organised with an eye for detailCalm under pressure, the ability to navigate ambiguity and working in a fast paced, ever-changing environmentPrevious experience at Inland Revenue would be advantageousIf this sounds like the right role for you, please get in touch using the details below.Please apply online, attach a copy of your CV and Cover Letter outlining how you meet the Change Analyst Level 2 role requirements as outlined in the attached Role Description.For specific queries, please email [email protected] and I will be in touch with you.Applications close  at  12pm on Friday, 12  April 2024 .Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
