BestStart Napier Central is conveniently located on Kennedy Road near the CBD, making us the perfect centre for families working in Napier or Hastings. Licensed for 45 children, our centre is a place where no dream is too big. Children’s learning flourishes as they are given time, space and encouragement to explore their interests, passions and imagination.

We are looking for an energetic, passionate leader who can guide the centre team to ensure the highest standards of early learning and care are maintained. You will take direct accountability for centre performance including the financial, educational, compliance, staff management and family/whanau aspects.

As our successful Centre Manager, you will have:
A natural ability to build strong relationships with your team, our families, and the community,
A strong belief in supporting staff moral and a positive, solution-based outlook.
A strong understanding of pedagogical strategies, to be a fountain of knowledge to others.
An ability to set a 'big picture' direction, while making sure the day to day details are attended to.
Sound business acumen.
Bachelor/ Diploma of Education Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Certification.
