Cellar Hand

About the roleThis is a permanent position working a minimum of 30 hours per week.The rate of pay is $30 - $33 per hour worked.Reporting to the Winemaker, the Cellar Hand will be an integral part of our top quality winemaking process.About youWe are looking for someone who:Has experience working through a minimum of 6 VintagesIdeally has a Bachelor's Degree in Viticulture or Winemaking (or equivalent)A NZ Full Drivers LicenceKnowledge and ability to operate winery equipment (including but not limited to: RDV, Bucher presses, and an Armbruster Destemmer)Has experience leading a small team over the vintage periodIs passionate about the winemaking process,Has excellent communication skills.If successful, you'll enjoy working with fruit from some great vineyards across Marlborough and New Zealand and will be involved in many, maybe all, aspects of the winemaking process.Applications close on Sunday 26 May 2024.All successful applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and a Ministry of Justice Criminal Record check.
