Job DescriptionTe Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityThis position plays an important role for the Centre for Brain Research building their profile across a range of platforms to reach multiple audiences.The role is tasked with the planning, development and implementation of innovative marketing and communications strategies, with the aim to enhance and broaden the profile and reach of the Centre. It will provide support for the Director and Research Engagement Manager of the URC to build a strong external profile through engaging communications and campaigns executed across a range of platforms.The role is aligned closely with the Facultys Marketing and Communications team for guidance and reports to the Centre for day-to-day operations and direction.This is a Part time, (15 hours per week), on a Fixed Term contract for 36 months. For more detailed information on the role accountabilities and requirements, please review this  Mo to matou ropu | About the teamEstablished in 2009, the Centre for Brain Research excels in world-class neuroscience research carried out by cross-faculty research teams, alongside clinical collaborations with leading neurologists, neurosurgeons and physicians in Aotearoa New Zealand and around the world. He korero mou | About youOur suitable candidate will meet the requirements below:A bachelors degree in communication, marketing, or a relevant subject area.Experience in a diverse range of marketing and advertising activities across print, the web and digital media.Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft suite of programmes.Capability in digital marketing, including social media, mass email and web platforms.A high level of oral and written English language communication skills.Ability to use initiative and work independently, with a commitment to contributing to team outcomes.Demonstrated commitment to customer service with an ability to communicate at all levels in cross-cultural work environments. Me pehea te tuku tono | How to applyApplications must be submitted online by the closing date of 26 April 2024 to be considered.
