We currently have positions available for Registered Nurses to join our casual pool at Hawke's Bay Maternity. You would need to be available for shifts on an on-call basis, working on our postnatal ward caring for mums and babies
Hawke's Bay Maternity is recognised nationally as providing innovative programs to improve maternal and infant health and wellbeing.
Working as a casual Registered Nurse is a great opportunity to support the Hawke's Bay community while utilising your talent in a supportive and highly professional hospital.
Your responsibilities will be to :
Provide high standards of evidence-based nursing care to women of varying ages and cultural groups and neonates
Plan, assess, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with women, their families and the multidisciplinary team so as to achieve identified goals and health outcomes

At the Hawkes Bay District Health Board we pride ourselves with clinical excellence and will support you to achieve the same.
Selection Criteria:
New Zealand Registered Nurse with Women's Health, Neonatal/Paediatric or Surgical experience
A current practising certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
Highly developed clinical skills in secondary or tertiary care
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Evidence of recent effective, competent nursing practice, as per PDRP
Ability to work effectively within a busy environment with competing demands
