The Occupational Therapy Team is committed to the values and behaviours of Hauora Tairawhiti and this is reflected in our day to day practice, and our quality and service plans.
We provide a friendly, welcoming, and supportive atmosphere and have a strong commitment to regular supervision and opportunities for professional development.
Our model of practice is The Canadian Model of Occupational Performance and Engagement. This model drives our process and measures our patient outcomes. We strive to use an evidenced based approach to assessment and interventions and we are quality driven.
We currently have an opportunity for a Casual Occupational Therapist, preferably with acute experience to join our Occupational Therapy team.
Applicants must be registered with the OT Board of New Zealand and have a current, clean and full driver's licence.
