Therole of a Healthcare Assistant varies from day to day but you will bethere to make sure that the centre is running smoothly and to its highestpotential. This could mean performing a variety of tasks such as:
Supporting people tostay well in their homes, assisting with cleaning and personal cares such asshowering,Ensuring that patientsat the health centre and in the community have the best experience possible.Maintaining cleanliness andorderliness within the health centre premises; including maintaining thehospital grounds and disposal of rubbish.Assisting in the transportation ofpatients and staff to and from the airport. Picking up and managing freight asrequired. Assisting with mealpreparation for patients and staff Assisting the nursingteam to ensure the smooth running of the health centre.Youmust have flexibility to work at short notice, including weekends and nights.
