Hamilton Te Rapa Metalman is a significant player in the New Zealand metal recycling industry with five branches operating throughout New Zealand Metalman is owned by HW Richardson Group Ltd which itself is a family owned business operating throughout New Zealand and Australia We are looking for a Cashier Buyer Processor based at our Hamilton branch The role is a mix of varied duties such as cashier buyer purchasing recyclable metals from the public using industry software grading different metals appropriately processing where we sort separate and strip material down to different categories forklift digger operation and other yard duties as relevant The ideal candidate will be Hardworking and a team player with a strong focus on a health and safety culture Customer focused and have excellent customer service skills Punctual and reliable with a positive attitude Able to demonstrate good organisational and computer skills Provide evidence of administration and cash management experience Current licences such as fork hoist and WTR digger licenses are advantageous Recent experience in the metal recycling industry is preferred although training will be provided to the successful candidateAdditionally you must be physically fit and take pride in your personal appearance The position is primarily Monday to Friday along with every second Saturday morning Metalman has a rigorous drug and alcohol policy and the successful candidate would need to pass a drug test prior to employment Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa To apply for this job go to hwrcareers co nz Reference Code 4935467 Applications close 30 November 2019
