Carpenter / Joiner• Do you want to be Valued for the work you do?Do you want to be part of a small group of like-minded, passionate craftsmen?Do you want time to do your job properly, to the best of your ability?Do you want to work on some of the best properties in Wellington?Are you ready for a change?We are looking for a Skilled Carpenter who has experience installing windows and doors toresidential properties.This role is for someone who can demonstrate a work history that shows they take pride intheir work, can work to deadlines and think on their feet when challenges arise.Our client, The English Craftsman, manufactures timber windows and doors with doubleglazing for Character and Historic properties around the Greater Wellington Region andoften beyond.You will have a good understanding of residential site requirements and be familiarand experienced working on site in Wellington's unique weather conditions and thechallenges that presents.You will be someone with a positive "can-do" attitude, able to adapt to challenges asthey arise and draw on your experience to make sound decisions.The role includes an assistant/apprentice to help you.You will have the freedom to take charge of the site work and coordinate theschedule with our General Manager and workshop foreman so that the work iscompleted within time frames.A van will be available for work use.Above all, your desire to do quality work will be paramount.They call their employees "Craftsmen, not Tradesmen" because they believe this highlightsthe difference between someone trained to do a job, and someone skilled in producing thebest.
