Irwell Rest Home is a true Family Rest Home - being one of the last privately owned and operated Rest homes in Wellington it makes for a truly unique family environment.
Irwell is in the hills of Island Bay, Wellington overlooking Cook Strait.

We are looking for a Caregiver who has a warm and caring nature, enjoys the company of elderly people and looking for a warm and supportive place to work in.

The suitable applicant needs to be flexible in their availability as shifts will be Night Shifts along with some AM and PM shifts (including weekends).

Having previous experience in the aged care industry is preferable although consideration will be given to those who show an interest in the Aged.
Due to poor public transport it is preferable applicants live in the Southern, Eastern suburbs.

We will consider those on current work permit they must have a minimum 12 months validation though.
