Hourly rate of $23.61 - $28.25 per hour Permanent Full-time.AM, PM, Nights and weekend shiftsAs a Caregiver at Waiapu House Lifecare, no two days will be the same, but you can be certain that each day you will leave work feeling fulfilled knowing that you've made a big difference in somebody else's day. As a Caregiver, you will use your skills to:
Work together in a team to provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment for our residentsFollow individual resident care plansForm lasting relationships with residents and their whanau | familyAdapt and support your wider team members to create a great team environmentA great team spirit with empathy and drive to make a difference in the lives of othersGood communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate with residents, their families and your team membersBe familiar with computers and have the ability to learn new systemsMinimum NZQA Level 2 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or a relevant New Zealand or overseas qualification desirable but not essential as on-the-job training will be provided.
