Mo Tenei Turanga Mahi | About the RoleTo provide proactive, professional and high quality expertise and support to the Tairawhiti Campus Director enabling them to undertake their role effectively and efficiently.The appointing salary for this role will be between $60,287 and $70,773, dependent on skills and experience.The Campus Director's Assistant role is based in our EIT | Te Pukenga Tairawhiti Campus reporting to the Campus Director and will be responsible for: Being the first point of contact to the Campus Director Diary management, ensuring they are available to undertake the requirements of the role Support meeting administration, coordinate events and organize travel arrangements Assist in the preparations of reports, presentations and documentation for the campus Administer financial and purchasing process on behalf of Campus Director and direct reports Serve as a liaison between internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication Manage and coordinate room bookings for the Tairawhiti Campus Provide back-up relief for Tairawhiti main reception and support other administrative staff, when required He korero mou| About youTo be successful in this role you will have: Graduate level tertiary qualification in a relevant field or the equivalent body of knowledge gained through experience Significant experience provided executive assistant support to the executive leadership team at a regional and local level Proven experience in the vocational education sector Advance knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams and other office software A high level of confidentiality and discretion particularly around sensitive information Understand and support the inclusion and application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi practices Ability to support and advocate the use of Te Reo, Tikanga and Matauranga Maori in the workplace As an inclusive and supportive employer, we value diversity and want to encourage anyone interested to apply, regardless of whether you tick all the boxes or not.We know that people from underrepresented groups and women in particular don't apply for roles if they're not a 100% match, but we're not looking for perfection, we're looking for potential.
