Cabinetry Design / Detailer

Manukau City, AucklandWould you like to work for one of the best Shopfitting and Restaurant / Bar Fitout company's in New Zealand?Our Award winning company is looking for experienced NZ based Carpenter to undertake fitout projects mainly in Auckland.There is a variety of work including building bars and restaurants as well as shop fitouts.We are an award winning Construction firm with sites mainly all over Auckland.We have modern factory on Richard Pearse Drive in AIRPORT OAKSWe are focussed on delivering exceptional work for our clients.Therefore we are looking for qualified candidates who have a background in cabinet making and woodworking.Candidates will be expected to produce cabinet/fixture drawings, revise marked up drawings, confirm hardware specifications and requirements and successfully engineer cabinets/fixtures for production using Pytha and / or Microvellum.About the role:The position involves creating detailed 3D models from design drawings ready for nesting using Pytha and / or Microvellum software as well as producing production drawings while working out all the custom details along the way. Along with three others in the Detailing team, you will be handling every piece of bespoke cabinetry and furniture going into production and work closely with architects, designers and our production team.Job Requirements:Advanced Microvellum and Pytha experience.User experience in Microsoft Office, mainly Excel and Outlook.Experience working with other industry related software is a plus.Time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, multi-tasking whileworking independently is required.Practical problem solving skills to create detailed shop drawings from architecturaldrawings while understanding shop construction techniques.Working closely with Project Managers, Designers, Production and our Directors tounderstand initial job requirements, manage change orders and provide aclearly defined path of construction.Immediate start available with one-on-one training / coaching within a team of three others.Come join a dynamic team manufacturing some of the best cabinetry in New Zealand used in our high end fitout specialising in the hospitality and retail industries.Complete Construction Ltd is a proud equal opportunity employer that also promotes women in construction, multiculturalism and inclusion within their team.
