Butchery Assistant Early Mornings - Full Time An exciting opportunity has arisen for driven individuals to join our Butchery Department at PAKn'SAVE Hastings as a Butchery Assistant on a Full time basis. Reporting to the Butchery Manager, you will contribute to the running of the department by merchandising the Butchery cabinet and making it it's most presentable by showcasing the meat products at their freshest and fullest. Additionally, dependent on the flow of products flowing from the Butchers down to pack, you may also contribute to running one of two auto-wrapper machines in order to pack our meat offerings as efficiently and freshly as possible. Our Meat Cabinet is a very important focal point of our store, and both of these positions within the roster are dedicated to help contribute to it's high standard.The hours are as follows:Sunday to Thursday (Friday & Saturday off) 6.00 am-2.30 pm (40 hours)Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday & Monday off) 6.00 am-2.30 pm (40 hours)For this role, duties include but are not limited to:Merchandising the cabinet, rotating stock and ensuring the cabinet is tidy and fullwell presentedstockPacking and wrapping all cuts and kinds of meat using the auto-wrapperLabelling meat with correct prices and ensuring consistent standards are met with presentationPricing small goods products for merchandisingPricing down products as instructed by the Butchery ManagerKeeping the department clean and presentable, following precise Health & Safety procedures ensuring the best product for our customersTaking Customer orders and fielding enquirieswhere neededWe are looking for:Team playersThe ability to work unsupervised at timesA great working attitude and ethicsFull Training will be provided to thesuccessful candidates!
