The role
Our Butchery 2IC is responsible for supporting the Butchery Manager with all aspects of the departments operation. This is a similar experience to running your own business but you'll do it with the support of an experienced instore management team. Supporting the Butchery Manager, key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring sales and GP targets are met or exceeded and that wage costs are controlled appropriately. To monitor sales and create opportunities to increase these based on last years results.
Ensure that PAKn'SAVE promotional pricing programmes are adopted so that the store presents a competitive and brand consistent offer to the market at all times.
Ensure range matches the format and customer service requirements whilst optimising stock holding levels and stock turn.
Minimise department waste.
Support and lead butchery team members including a focus on their training and development.

Our chosen applicant will have previous retail supervisory experience including knowledge of SAP and working experience as a Butcher.
