Business System LeadNew Zealand Steel, a wholly owned subsidiary of BlueScope, manufactures and markets a range of flat rolled steel products for the building, construction, manufacturing, and agricultural sectors. You may know us for our flagship COLORSTEEL brand.
What you will be doing In this role you will be a key member of our expanding end-to-end supply chain transformation team, you will work closely with our information technology team and system vendors to ensure the smooth implementation and utilisation of advanced planning/scheduling and ERP systems across our large organisation.
With your analytical problem-solving skills and ability to influence and engage you will be able to find effective technology solutions to maximise benefits and meet business requirements. You will be educating users and the business on how systems are best utilised to avoid costly customisations.
What you will bring to the role With a degree in Business, Information Technology or Supply chain you will have vast experience as a system/application super user or owner, your open-minded approach, ability to influence and engaging communication style will see you build strong relationships and credibility with your stakeholders.
You will have the capacity to make well-considered decisions even in uncertain environments, ensuring that the actions align with the companies overarching goals and vision, you will remain focused and committed to long-term objectives.
