Working with leadership and other key business stakeholders, the Business Process / Service Design Advisor is responsible for supporting the delivery of service and process design for a broad business improvement programme of work. This will include eliciting requirements from stakeholders, current state process mapping, analysis and options assessment, design and documentation and assistance with implementation of design, to ensure successful implementation of the programme. The Business Process / Service Design Advisor will contribute to the development and execution of design and implementation approaches and practices and develop processes, guides and other artefacts that can be used by stakeholders to execute on the design. You will also be responsible for designing the internal business processes that will be required. The position is responsible for supporting the Project Lead to manage stakeholder expectations about the project, generate buy-in to various solutions proposed, and ensuring that the resulting designs are aligned with the overall design blueprint. The service designer will be required to be credible, knowledgeable, command respect and work through others to succeed.
To be successful in this role you will have extensive expertise and experience in business analysis and service and process design and have successfully led design of large transformation projects. You will have the ability to research and identify best practice and use this to facilitate design, work with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and to identify and assess business and information processes and their effectiveness. You will have a strong Business Analyst toolbox and have fantastic stakeholder management and communication skills.
