You will oversee 8 dairy farms mostly located in the Manawatu region but including the Wairarapa.Key responsibilities include:·Working collaboratively with Farm Managers to achieve action plans, analyse financial performance and drive strategic and operational initiatives.·Building leadership capability in the region through coaching, mentoring, and giving regular feedback on performance.·Developing a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.·Acting as a role model of organisational values, behaviours, operational and corporate best practices.·Demonstrating exemplary visible leadership of Pamu health, well-being, and safety culture.Please note: You must be based in the Manawatu region.About YouYou will bring significant leadership and coaching experience within agriculture; you will have a strong understanding of farming systems and the industry.You will also have:·Proven background in operations management, strategy, planning and performance improvement.·A track record of success in delivering sustainable business, capability, financial and reputational results.·Highly developed understanding of commercial realities and well-developed business acumen.·Significant exposure to and experience with financial, commercial, and planning decisions.·Practical understanding of the use and application of farm-related software programs and high level of computer literacy.
