Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology) Health Hawke's Bay – Te Oranga o Te Matau-a-Maui is the region's single Primary Health Organisation (PHO), covering a population of approximately 167,500. We aim to improve health outcomes and life expectancy across Hawke's Bay, particularly for Maori and other under-served groups. Underpinning our mahi and everything we do are our values Whakamana (Empower), Aroha (Compassion), Kotahitanga (Collaboration) and Auaha (Innovation).  Health Hawke's Bay has an exciting opportunity for a passionate data engineer / analyst to lead the Data insights function within the Data and Digital team and to assist with transforming our data management and reporting practices. You will be responsible for  Implementing Health Hawkes Bay's Data strategy including the replacement of the current data warehouse.  Working with clinical teams on the creation of new reports or data models to measure Health Hawkes Bay performance, clinical risks, and trends using a range of technologies such as Using Microsoft and Snowflake. Maintaining Health Hawkes Bay's data warehouse and working with external vendors such as Datacraft, Karo, Medtech and Valentia.  Working with key stakeholders across the health sector such as Te Whatu Ora, ACC and the wider health systems on the integration of new data sources.  Embedding the use of statistical and data modelling methodologies to gain detailed actionable insight into the wellbeing of Hawkes Bay residents. You will have a relevant tertiary qualification, significant experience in analytics and/or reporting, be known for successfully translating and integrating transactional data into meaningful well-actionable reports, be experienced working in Microsoft Power BI, and have experience working with complex and diverse data with in SQL or it's equivalent. You will also:  Have experience in providing insights that lead to positive business change and challenges the status quo  Be an excellent communicator and work in a collaborative, respectful, supportive, and sensitive way  Be experienced in leading the creation of data governance standards, guidelines and data architectures  Have strong skills and experience in data modelling and visualisation  Have experience migrating to a new data warehouse, mapping new dataflows, building data pipelines and ELT processes  Have a working knowledge of: Office 365 or MS Office Suite Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server  Ideally experience working with Snowflake, Qlik, Databrick or similar  Health Hawkes Bay welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates.
