Reporting to the Manager - Invercargill Libraries, this newly created position will identify new services and revenue streams, create strategic partnerships, and foster innovative library services to enhance the service offering and future proof the Library. Key responsibilities for this position include: Expanding the Library's position as a vital resource for the community, local businesses and social entrepreneurs. Monitoring and reporting on the work programme of business improvement projects related to the implementation of the Library strategy and the agreed levels of service to the community. Ensuring the Library runs in a business-like manner identifying opportunities for improvement, external funding and increased revenue. Working alongside the community and the Programming team providing logistical support to enable new initiatives and mutually beneficial relationships between the community and the library. Oversee and undertake reporting of KPI's and performance measures of the business. Being the key relationship holder for shared services ensuring requests for service are followed up and the resulting service delivered meets the expectations of the business.
