Business Development/Supervisor

We are seeking a well-rounded, energetic and experienced Business Development person to join our growing Commercial Sales team in Tauranga. This role is packed with opportunity for growth. In this role you will be actively seeking new opportunities to drive and grow our business. You will be identifying new business opportunities while also managing client accounts and providing subject matter expertise and solutions for our customers. Identifying needs and opportunities in the market is also important. A portion of this role will include supervising and leading a small team of drivers as well. Ideally you will have some experience or exposure to transport and operations while working with both internal and external customers. On offer is a competitive salary + commission + Electric Vehicle. Our ideal candidate will have the following: Outstanding and proven sales experience and planning across various sized businesses. Qualification in Business, Logistics or related field. Proven relevant experience in a similar environment/role is preferable. Proven previous people management experience in a similar field is preferable. Knowledge of health and safety related to the transport industry. Self-motivated and works to strict deadlines. Strong Written and Verbal Communication is a must. Strong relationship builder and team player. Proven sales and negotiation skills. Ability to build strong business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
