We're excited to be growing our team in the South Island, and are now looking for a remote Business Development Manager to support us across Canterbury and the upper South Island. As a BDM, you thrive on fostering strong relationships with clients and referral partners alike, driving new business to facilitate the continued growth of our commercial team. Whilst you'll maintain a small, select portfolio of clients, a key element of your role will be generating a strong pipeline of clients to seamlessly transition to servicing brokers. Your ability to build genuine connections, provide great advice and hold authentic conversations will set you apart. For you, it's about more than transactions. It's about nurturing relationships, offering transparent advice, and delivering exemplary service. You're the epitome of professionalism, with communication skills to match. Of course, hitting KPIs and SLAs is crucial. Our tried and tested approach has proven to be incredibly successful time and time again.  To thrive in this role, you will: have a minimum of 2 years insurance and risk advisory experience be able to showcase your experience in a previous sales role, or have proven expertise in new business acquisition as an insurance broker/risk adviser hold certification in Financial Services (Level 5) be set up to work from home/remotely  ideally be based in Christchurch to best support our clients and referral partners, however we will also consider candidates from other South Island regions such as Nelson, Marlborough, Tasman enjoy a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and be curious with a desire to grow display initiative, be proactive and a natural problem solver  be an expert communicator and able to work collaboratively.
