Backed by a team of dedicated professionals, they are pulling away from their competitors and have become the market leader when it comes to commercial building painting and maintenance programmes in New Zealand The Role: As an integral member of the broader management team, this role entails targeting pivotal sectors within the region and promoting the brand of the business. The position involves cultivating, sustaining, and capitalizing on relationships with both new and established clients to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities: Cultivating new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships Offering a consultative sales approach tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Collaborating in the development and formulation of business expansion strategies, subject to approval by the Regional Manager, aimed at securing new prospects and fortifying connections with current clients. Ensuring clear and concise communication both internally and externally Delivering regular reports and insightful recommendations to the Regional Manager regarding critical aspects of the business development function Take proactive steps to engage with the industry, acquiring new income streams and accounts for the business. Collaborate with the Regional Manager to ensure the business is equipped to handle new contracts and adequately resourced. Whenever feasible, procure paint specifications and keep Operations updated accordingly. Meet Business Development KPIs and budget targets. Keep CRM updated with accurate information. Conduct cold calls and sales appointments. Provide weekly reports to Regional Manager. Forecast monthly personal sales. Ensure timely project management within budget. Collaborate with Managers for resource allocation. Regularly update Regional Manager. Undertake additional projects as required. About you: In order to be successful in this role, you will be an experience sales hunter with a strong background in trades and services or related construction sector. Along with the above, you will bring an established network and: Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of commercial paint and maintenance sector. (or trades/construction of some sort) Sales Skills: Strong ability to identify opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills for client, contractor, and stakeholder relationships Problem-Solving Abilities: Capacity to develop innovative solutions for client needs Communication Skills: Clear, concise communication for proposals, negotiations, and updates Strategic Thinking: Development and execution of growth-oriented business plans Customer Focus: Commitment to understanding and addressing client needs.
