The Opportunity: We are seeking a moderately experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Melbourne. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a great attitude, who is passionate about sales and customer service within the construction sector. Your mission will be to identify new business opportunities and help diversify our client base across civil construction, qualified trades, and warehousing industries. Key Responsibilities: Actively pursue new business opportunities within the construction, civil construction, qualified trades, and warehousing industries. Manage and develop relationships with existing clients. Utilise BCI forecasting tools and a warm-lead database to identify and secure potential clients. Collaborate with our Commercial Account Manager in Melbourne to ensure top-notch service delivery. Achieve sales targets and drive the agency's growth. Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the National Chief of Operations. Ideal Candidate: Proven track record as a Business Development Manager or similar role in the construction industry. Deep understanding of the labour hire and recruitment landscape. Exceptional sales and customer service skills, with a great attitude and a high care factor. Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A working knowledge of JobAdder and BCI is advantageous but not essential.
