The Client Our client is a small boutique freight business with a real point of difference this makes it easy to target and sell your varied service offerings out there in the market place They partner with key clients and suppliers which provides the ability for referrals and strong leverage in various sectors They offer 3PL road transport courier and international freight forwarding services The Role As a New Business Development Manager you will be tasked with hunting new business opportunities through effective pipeline management opening doors with numerous businesses closing the sale and establishing long lasting relationships with clients no handing over the accounts once secured It is an autonomous role covering the Auckland region so you will need to be self motivated disciplined and happy to work from a shared services office The successful candidate will have great drive passion and energy levels Enjoys the chase of securing new business and can give key examples of what success looks like It will be a huge advantage if you come from the distribution 3PL transport freight or courier sector however if you are a B2B sales professional with good contacts we will like you to apply Skills Required Previous new business sales experience 3 5 years min exp Ability to establish rapport and build effective business relationships High level of written and verbal communication skills Broad industry and commercial experience and knowledge Organisation and time management skills Confidence with meeting deadlines Effective presentation skills Strong analytical ability and numerical ability Strong commercial acumen Excellent time management skills Effective Communication Self motivated and driven On offer is a base salary commission car phone laptop How to Apply Apply directly to this advert on the link below
