Business Development Manager Auckland Business Development Manager Auckland CSR Hebel is a leading manufacturer of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete AAC an amazingly innovative and lightweight building material that brings building into the 21st century The unique content structure of Hebel significantly improves time to build and requires less energy resulting in the improved comfort of the new home The opportunity CSR Hebel is a growing business driven by its ability to identify market trends and configure building systems that meet industry needs Hebels mission to be the better way to build is demonstrated by identifying and converting builders to Hebel systems and challenging them to use more Hebel systems over time The significant success of Hebel has led to the need for a broader team to capitalise on all opportunities Our team in Auckland is rapidly growing and we have a position for a Business Development Manager to connect our specialised installation customers with residential and multiresidential projects and major home builders Fostering relationships across the supply chain the candidate will need to devise strategies that meet customer needs and grow the sales profitably Key Responsibilities Duties Actively target and convert multiresidential projects and major home builders Leverage your existing industry networks to gain access and influence decision makers Strengthen relationships with resellers and independent installers and assist them in achieving year on year growth Understand the market segment the channels the competition and identify target opportunities to seek out key contacts Acquire facts and data and develop market insights and options for customers to make a compelling case for change on factors other than price Follow through to ensure the customer experience is positive leads to repeat business and new opportunities that Hebel can explore Skills Experience The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate 35 years business development experience in a B2B capacity within the building products category A trade background would be well regarded High levels of enthusiasm resilience and the drive to meet and exceed desired outcomes A tenacious and hunter sales approach coupled with a strong solution relationship focused attitude Experience with installation subcontract services and related contractors High technical aptitude and ability to understand the construction process A strong network of builder contacts will be advantageous Strong expertise to influence affect change and deliver value Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all types of internal and external customers e g Developers Builders and Contractors The ability to anticipate and understand customers needs and key drivers and marshal resources to achieve sales and organisational goals On offer is an attractive package and most importantly you will be part of an organisation that truly values its people offers career progression opportunities and rewards for excellence How to apply CSR has a fantastic working environment and embraces full diversity If you believe you have the relevant skills experience and passion required to be a success in this role apply online with a professional resume and cover letter To learn more about CSR Hebel please visit www hebel co nz Please note CSR has a process of preemployment medicals including a drug and alcohol screen which will be conducted prior to an offer being made
