Help shape the Electoral Commission's operationsA flexible and supportive environmentWellington CBD LocationAbout the role | Mo tone turanga mahi You will play a key role in ensuring effective business operations through well-focused designing, planning and delivery of the requirements for successful electoral events and projects. This role would suit a capable Business Analyst with around 3 years relevant BA experience.
About you | Mohou ake Customer centric approach and experience.Demonstrated expertise in building relationships and collaborating with a diverse range of internal stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts.Well-developed analytical skill and excellent judgment, ability to probe deeper into data and formulate well-reasoned solutions.Ability to tell an evidence-based story of the project to stakeholders and senior leaders.Knowing how to improve processes and design productivity improvements and experience in the business improvement methodologies, tools and techniques.Ability to plan, deliver and monitor smaller business change initiatives.Driving for results, even in a tight timeframe.Comfort with and excellence in a broad range of workshop facilitation tools and techniques.Ideally you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and/or 3 years of experience, preferably in a business operations environment.Enquiries aboutsecondment opportunitiesare welcome.
What you'll be doing | He aha tau e mahi ana The successful candidate will be focusing on designing, planning, developing and implementation for an electoral event and the related projects. This will include responsibility for:
Delivering business analysis components for the Operations Group.Facilitating meetings and workshops to document well-balanced requirements from Subject Matter Experts.Developing robust and easy to understand outputs to stakeholders and managers.Data analysis and impact assessment to support prioritisation and decision making.Identifying improvement opportunities, gathering data and information to understand the current state, clarifying root causes and requirements, and developing future state processes to implement solutions with SMEs and key stakeholders.Working with Business Analysts in the team to grow the capability.You will ideally have experience in service delivery and working in the business operations environment.
