The role This position aims to add immediate value to Manuka Health by supporting and executing strategic initiatives aimed at reducing costs, enhancing product quality, and ensuring efficient processes within our Apiculture and Supply Chain operations. The role will also involve critical analysis, project management, and strategic support to foster business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Execution and Support: Work closely with the Apiculture team to implement our 5-year strategy focused on producing high-quality Manuka honey at competitive costs. Assist in developing strategies that align with Manuka Health's goals for cost efficiency and market leadership. Data Management and Reporting : Collaborate with the GM of Apiculture and GM of Supply Chain to manage, analyze, and store critical data. Provide clear and concise reporting to support decision-making and ensure the financial health of the company. Operational Excellence: Support the Operations and Supply Chain teams in ongoing projects to maintain and enhance the efficiency of our Manuka Honey processing facilities globally. Lead and manage special projects aimed at optimizing the cost of goods sold (COGS) for our key products. Project Leadership : Guide the development and approval process for business cases related to capital projects, strategic acquisitions, and other special initiatives across the Supply Chain. Insight and Analysis : Deliver exceptional insights through accurate, timely analysis and impactful reporting. Regularly report against agreed KPIs to the Board and senior leadership teams. Strategic Acquisitions: Play a key role in the identification and diligence process of acquisition opportunities to ensure alignment with company goals and financial health. Market and Business Support: Aid in market strategy formulation and implementation, including preparing for new account pitches and supporting marketing with product analysis and reviews. Change Implementation: Collaborate with business leaders to implement changes effectively and drive organizational effectiveness. Additional Responsibilities : Perform ad hoc analyses, document findings for shareholders, and handle other duties as assigned by your Manager. Our ideal XXX will have the following attributes and skills: Proven experience in business analysis, strategic planning, and project management within a similar industry. Strong analytical skills with an ability to gather, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated ability to lead projects and initiatives that align with business goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across teams and with senior management. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related fields. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis tools.
