Job summary Would you like to be paid while you develop your administration skills and gain a Level 3 Business Administration qualification in a healthcare setting? If so, this might be the opportunity for you. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Business Administration Apprentice who has a proactive attitude and an eagerness to respond positively to challenges. You will join our Directorate of Therapies Admin Team based at Flatts Lane Centre in Middlesbrough, where you will be offered a nurturing, supportive and friendly environment to develop your skills and achieve the Business Administration qualification. You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team gaining valuable work experience and a recognised apprenticeship qualification. Commitment to completing the qualification during the apprenticeship is required. This apprenticeship standard is at Level 3 and will typically take between 15 to 18 months to complete. The post is fixed term for the duration of the apprenticeship, with a possibility of a permanent role upon completion, though this is not guaranteed. The post is full time - hours per week. All applicants must be : Resident in the UK / EEA for the last three years. Must not have a similar business administrative qualification (including apprenticeship at Level 3 or above) and must not be in any form of formal government-funded education. Person Specification Qualifications Essential ITQ Level 2 or equivalent or willingness to work towards within an agreed timescale Key skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2or O Level / GCSE in Maths and English grade C or above or willingness to work towards within an agreed timescale Desirable Diploma / NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service Experience Essential Some secretarial / administrative experience Desirable Secretarial / administrative experience in a clinical environment. Knowledge Essential Some knowledge of secretarial and administrative procedures and the ability to undertake associated tasks ensuring adherence to defined procedures and guidelines. Some knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
