An exciting opportunity has become available for a Broker to join Marsh Transport team in Auckland. This position will assist the Senior and Principal Account Executives in all aspects of client services including client contact, administration, technical support and business development.
The suitable candidate will have exposure to the insurance brokerage industry in any class of insurance with knowledge of heavy motor as an advantage with a good attitude and brilliant organisation skills. The role can grow into a specialised Account Broker or suit an individual who simply loves a support role and job security.

In this role you will be responsible for:
Development, implementation and management of insurance programs which accurately address local client needs within the transport sector.
Work actively to gain an understanding of the client's business, risk management and insurance needs
Implement renewal and broking strategies based on the Marsh Client First Principles
Working alongside Support Brokers to ensure the accurate, efficient and timely production of all clients, insurer and policy related documentation.
We would like you to have:
3 – 5 years’ experience within insurance or logistics environments
Hold strong communication skills to enable you to provide a high level of general insurance service to clients
Team player with excellent Customer Service skills
Have a proactive approach to all aspects of account management
Hard working and results orientated
Solid Microsoft skills
Have sharp judgement, influencing skills and excellent attention to detail
Embrace change and be commercially aware
Enjoy working in a faced paced environment where no two days are the same.
